Dear Denners,
An Easter break in my humble opinion is the first taste of Summer vacations to come .
A delicious cocktail of anticipated summer fun. Rather than bore you all with the joys of Easter - chocolate eggs, traffic jams, what to wear on Easter Sunday etc, I thought I would give you my top four Easter breaks.
They all have one thing in common - slightly off the beaten track, 20C plus, great food, cool hotels. Plenty of places to exercise your credit card and of course show off your Denner cashmere.
So just for readers of this blog I am going to reveal all ….

Not in any particular order …
No 1. Palma in Mallorca. I love Palma. I have been there many times, and you always discover something new. A mixture of history Spanish chic it has it all . Perhaps one of the best photo shoots we have ever done at Denner. Amazingly given its size you just don’t feel like a tourist!!!
No 2. Essaouira - a real charmer of a place, a former haunt of French hippies in the sixties. Unspoilt beaches, incredible sand dunes . Wonderful artisan treasures, what more could you want? Even better that Ryan air now flies direct. Catch it before it gets invaded !!! Moroccans give you the warmest of welcomes ( “best price “!!!).

No 3. Nerja . A beautiful genuine Spanish small city. Unspoilt, very few sports bars, English pubs, humming with Spaniards going about their daily business. Great restaurants, lovely walks - ticks all the boxes for a special Easter break . There is also a wonderful market where you can stock up on rare and unusual herbs and tea.
No 4. St Raphael . Lives in the shadow of its two well-known sisters Nice and Cannes . If you want a relatively unspoilt destination on the Riviera, this is just the place. Fishing boats still go out from the harbour and the price of a cup of coffee is reasonable.
Just about retains a busy mix of tourists and locals. Lovely feeling of elegance and charm with some fabulous chic boutiques.
