WHAT'S THE OCCASION?

As summer gets into full swing - delightfully you have decision after decision to make about all the various summer invitations you have in front of you.
I am talking about weddings, parties, christenings, that exhibition at the Courtauld, Henley, Ascot - so many exciting events.
So what do you wear to these wonderful occasions?
I sense from my fellow fashion bloggers the flowery “play it safe “ flowing skirt or dress with a hat combination is a bit passé.
The style I am picking up is cool sophistication.
This sophistication is centred on knitwear that looks cool and chic. Right up Denner’s street.
So here are a few ideas that I have chosen for you that will mellifluously (yeah I know that’s a big word) blend into any of the summer events that one enjoys so much.
Royal Blue seems to be very popular (especially after such a wonderful coronation!)
