Description

It is made to sit alongside the rest of the wardrobe rather than compete with it: plain lines, one colour, fine enough to fold into a bag. Warm enough for the cold mornings and light enough to keep on indoors. Wear it every day of the winter, which is what it is for. The hat to keep by the door and stop thinking about.

Spun and knitted in our own factory in Ulaanbaatar, then linked, washed and finished by hand.

Standard UK sizing — take your usual size. Between sizes and prefer a closer fit? Size down.

Composition

100% Mongolian cashmere, 2-ply

Combed by hand each spring from goats that winter on the Mongolian steppe. 2-ply yarn gives a denser, warmer knit that softens with wear.

Care instructions

Always follow the care label inside this hat. It has the washing instructions for this exact piece.

Hand wash cool with a cashmere shampoo, or use a wool cycle at 30°C in a mesh bag. Do not wring; dry flat away from heat and store folded. A little pilling in the first weeks is natural and lifts off with a cashmere comb.
